if you know me, i am always saying “i’m good, three is enough” when asked about kids/babies.. well, wow.. i had a huge hit of “oh my gosh – one more!?” when i saw mazie!  and then after looking through these images – my heart is just aching..  oh dear, if my husband reads this.. he so very much wants another babe..

maybe it’s just because mazie is too a.d.o.r.a.b.l.e.. perfect skin.. perfect little laid back disposition.. and – well, the girl loves to have her picture taken!!  this is mazie’s second appearance on the blog (here at a wee 6 days) – she is one of my “babe to tot” planners.. and i can’t wait to see how perfect-er she is at 6 months! (note the tiny bubble in the last picture)

On St. Patrick’s day last year while the kids were napping, I was on the phone with dear friend, Melanie.  She informed me that a leprechaun visited her house and got in to a bunch of mischief.. well, when my kids woke from their nap, amazingly, a leprechaun had visited our house too.. too bad I was upstairs the whole time or surely I would have caught him and been rewarded with a pot of gold!!!

This year, Cooper was determined to catch Padrig O’Mally – I’m sure I’ve misspelled his name.  The kids made signs to “welcome” him.. Then Cooper devised a well thought out trap for him.   A cardboard box, with a lot of torn paper for a soft landing… the box was strategically placed near the front door with a line of shoes around so Padrig could not go around the box.. THEN to make it even easier to catch Padrig, Cooper fastened a ramp to the front.. Certain to catch a leprechaun!!!! and “how excited would you be mommy to have a POT OF GOLD today!?!?!”

I picked Cooper up from school and Padrig had already caused a lot of mischief in his classroom – “for a guy no larger than my thumb, he sure gets in to mischief!!”.. love that kid!!  well, we got the girls and headed home.

some of our findings..

“as you can see mom, he obviously has a green Swiss Army knife!!”

for those of you with mini sessions this weekend on Friday and Saturday..

In case I missed you in email, I wanted to send a quick note – It sure looks like it is going to be really chilly tomorrow and Saturday.. If indeed it is, we will be doing the mini session in my indoor studio – will be super cute!  So dress however you want – I will either have heat surrounding the kid(s) or we will be indoors.. I have gorgeous fabrics picked out for the backdrops.. Cute accents.. Just need to add some cute kids!  Please do not stress if your little one is uncooperative at first – they usually are not.. Just sit back and let me do my thing.  You will think I’m crazy, but it will make for some great images!

gosh.. i’m a bit behind on blogging my photography stuff!!  i’ll play a bit of a catch up for this post..

little baylee came over for a quick session – to capture her in her One-Year-Old cuteness..   I just love her – i had fun and was nearly out of a voice by the time she left.. she’s loud, i’m loud – it worked out well!!!

keep this type of session in mind if you don’t want a full on location session..  although I don’t discount the session fee, you can expect to spend much less on one of these studio sessions – just less variety in images, and a shorter time frame – usually 30mins to 1 hour – but longer if your little one needs it… and you don’t have to clean your home or think of an awesome location or worry about the weather…  Some of these were done inside with full backdrop and studio lights (because the sun REFUSED to peek out from the gray blanket that is covering) – and we wanted a certain look to the images.. and some of them were taken in my outdoor studio – which i sometimes heat -  it has fantastic natural light all day long… I also have some pretty nooks around my home that beg for photos to be taken – if the weather will warm!

I am booking well in to June and July now – with spots very hard to come by.. please.. please call if you think you may want a session..

so here is adorable baylee.. hopped up on yogurt snacks and with the cutest cheeks and funniest little personality – sweet and sour she is.. and i absolutely LOVED it!!
