WOW.. you guys totally came out today.. we were swamped!  and the rain held out until just at the end!

It was awesome to see so many bags of food coming toward us!!

Thank you all for the donations to the Bristol Emergency Food Pantry.. I will have an update on how much we raised as well as peeks soon..

we will be under the porch at the back of the Farmer’s Market – so even if it is raining, please stop by!

twins.. two year old twins.. now – you all know the tough time I am having with MY almost two year old.. I drank an extra cup of coffee before this one!  Two-year-old’s as a rule are a bit of a challenge – they have such fierce independence, but at the same time want to be with mom, crazy amounts of wonder, tears come often as do wild amounts of laughter – crazy short attention spans – and sit here and look at me – well, that rarely works..   BUT this stage just really has to be documented because of just those very things!

when i saw these two cuties the first time, we had to reschedule because of misty threatening clouds and tiny droplets of rain – and i am so happy we did!  these turned out so wonderful .. and i really enjoyed the kids and seeing mom and dad with the two..  so cool seeing them at the same age and how girly Lauren is and how much of a boy Andrew is!   BOTH are just adorable and sweet..

a few..

i got to take pictures of these little ladies again!  three adorable sisters – lauren, lacey, and landree..  i love hanging out with them – although – this time we did the session at their home – beautiful – gorgeous BUT each way i turned i was walking up a hill!  i am not the most graceful of gals, so i was thrilled that i did not roll to the bottom!   oh.. Lacey keeps me laughing and occasionally speechless.. she is a charmer – and just fabulous.. Lauren – is the cutest, most caring big sis ever!  and little Landree – a mommy’s girl she was at this session – but WOW did she light up when her puppy came in to the picture.. and when we were throwing leaves – that age is so cautious – until they are sure and then FEARLESS.. and that was Landree.. i am having such fun zipping through these images..

here are a few for you Belinda and Todd… hope you enjoy..

brothers :: william & joseph

October 18, 2009

i met these boy’s mom, elizabeth, when i first moved here..   each time i see her i think, oh.. it’s been so long since i’ve seen her!  she is just soooo dang nice and put together… if you know her – you know it’s true..   but, ya know – we’ve never really spent any time together – so – it was so nice to spend even a tiny amount of time with her and her boys today.. these boys are handsome and – well, ALL BOY!!!  this session was fun – i could have chased them around all day – but alas, we were stuck in my little studio today!  william has a great little – smirk and as six year old boys are trained to give that “SMILE”.. he loosened up and we had a great time laughing at each other.. i think he may think me a little loud!  and joseph – OHMAGOSH – he has the BEST laugh!  it is this little cackle almost.. well, i just loved these guys!..

although i love william’s smile – i love this serious one of him.. his eyes are so – well, not intense, but – i know there is a word for what i mean – but it’s been a long weekend..

WONDERFUL day.. wonderful weekend of sessions.. i just love seeing the relationships between siblings

i’m so happy that Susan wanted a peek of her studio session yesterday – I have a few seconds between sessions today to get these posted.. LOVED these kids – they were the last session of my studio portrait sessions yeseterday (aka mini Holiday sessions)… i was worn nearly worn out – a fun day of sessions, but light was fading fast and so was I!  but these two cuties came in and i had such fun with them.. Grace, 4 and Bryce, 9 – what wonderful kids.  I think they had fun too!

got a call this morning that a small family session has turned in to a large family session because of an engagement!!!! SOOO HAPPY for the gorgeous couple!!!! and they are coming in town to do an extended family session!!! soooo that opens up a spot I have for session on November 1st!

Let me know if you are interested.. this still gives us time to get things back in time for Christmas!

yes.. that post title says stuffs – with an extra S.. as my little Abby says.. i know i should correct her, but she’s 4 already and i don’t want her to grow up as it is!

i just love this little job i have – i get quality time with the kids – and yet get to get out and be ME.. and meet people and grow friendships with current clients.. it really is too much fun sometimes!   October is CRAZY normally, but this October – we added a few extra things – and I think poor husband tom has folded about 2,000 Christmas Cards… those are just the FOLDED ones.. anyway – props to tom..

so..  i am out this weekend at the Holiday Market in Kingsport – but next weekend are the mini sessions (still don’t like the word mini – but I haven’t a creative unused spot in my brain to come up with a different word)  – have 4 more spots left!  YIKES..  Next weekend will be busy!

also have something going on for Halloween – so look for that next week!

have some fantabulous new better-than-coffee-table books that are my new standard book – GORGEOUS – they are just gorgeous..  if I could find a minute to photograph my studio samples, i could show you.. I will get to it!  I have four client books that are due in next week – certainly I will take a moment to photograph those!

completely exhausted.. anyone else?  fairly certain the babe will have a fever tonight.. can just see it in her little eyes

a super quick post… Tiffany and I have a booth at the Holiday Market in Kingsport at the Meadowview Convention Center this weekend.. Stop by and say hello see our pretty little display.. I will have Gift Certificates on hand if anyone would like to purchase one for someone special (hint, hint).  They are available for any amount.

plus i just love to meet the people who read my blog.. or are friends of someone i photographed.. so say hi..
